The elastic on my bedchair needs replacing and I have tried searching for the elastic kit from Nash but it looks like it has been discontinued, can anyone recommend a good alternative for the original cords used by nash?

You could use paracord from ebay it just depends if you want it firmer too

Sorry to refresh this thread but is it straightforward paracord that I need or the elastic type. Need to replace the elastic cord on my 20 year old Fox 6 leg Super Recliner.

If you want like for like buy shock cord of the same diameter. readily available on the net, in hardware shops or yacht chandlers(expensive) or 10mm green at £10 for 5m on amazon. If you want a firmer bed use paracord, next day delivery from amazon. Take plenty of pics to show the fitting and follow through as you remove the old stuff. You can then play with the tension to suit your needs. Simples.

Cheers for the tips mate. I've ordered 30 metres of 9mm paracord. I'll be able to fo the bedchair and an old super recliner fox chair and will probably have 15m leftover for other projects. 😁👍
