Right guys,Which are considered to be best value Slim bank sticks for going into hard compacted gravel swims. Don't want to use buzz bars, singles only. Currently using fox black label power points, which do the job. My issue, is as they are so chunky the Atts look lost on top. Hence looking for a much slimmer design, whilst still been able to cut through the hard ground.

Depends on what you consider is value. You could buy one of the more expensive brands and then never change them, or you could buy cheaper sticks so they initial outlay is a lot less, but they won't last as long or take anywhere near as much punishment so you might need to replace them quicker.

Probably Dinsmore if you can find them.

Maybe look into a Jag digging stick or similar to make a pilothole first, I honestly wish I got one much sooner and although stainless they are fairly light.

Everything except stainless runs a risk of being bent when pushing into hard ground

I bought a Defiant MPS digging tool brilliant bit of kit, can get my alloy bank sticks into any bank with one these 👍

Cheers guys, will have a look at one of these digging tools to pilot an hole, along with sticks👍

I have the same problem, thinking of using the cygnet minimal and a digging stick
