Bit of a weird one. But I'm not allowed to Cook my particles in the house as I'm at my parents and mum won't let me cook bait indoors as it smells. So I have to do it in the garage. I use to use a petrol Colman stove .but that has died. And I could do with something a bit more powerful as it took forever to do on the Colman's. I use a pressure cooker to cook all my particles. I just need something smallish but powerful to use. What u guys recommend

Is that what you use for doing hot water for canteens for when you won't a coffee or tea and get hot water from ???

I use an old camping double burner hooked up to a gas bottle- not particularly powerful but more than enough for getting a big pan of particles bubbling.
You can get more powerful outdoor burners for around £30 have a look on Ebay

Yer just needs something to get a pressure cooker hearted up quickly as I don't wont to sit there for hours just to cook a few kilo of bait

Large stock pot on a large camping stove and a gas bottle. I do 8kg dry at a time in a large stock pot, bring it to boil from cold is around 20mins on a medium heat. Should set you back under £90, camping stove & regulator £40 on the bay, stock pot £15 and then a second hand gas bottle for free (facebook marketplace is good) and a refill if needed around £30.

Always used my Burcho for my particles, More convenient long term then a petrol or gas stove.
Just pick the size of Burcho for the amount of particles you expect to cook up.
Boil for the recommended time, then turn off / unplug and leave the lid on to cool down gradually overnight.

Edit: just checked, mine is the 9 litre / 2 gallon size.

Burco in my garage every time, literally put the dry particle in cold water inside the boiler for 48hrs, 48hrs later turn it on and let it simmer for 30mins.

Already had a full butane has bottle, so I bought a large gas ring. Burco boilers seem in the main to be 20 or 30 litre capacity so I'd like a cook pot to be a similar size if possible.

Have a look at homebrew shops, they sell them, you This is a 33ltr one
I use a Paella burner ring, matched to pot size (100ltr), important as you don't want all the heat going up the side. If you buy a more powerful reg you can also increase the btu output, as long as your burnner can take it and you stir to avoid burning.

facebook marketplace is good for stock pots - amazing what people sell cheap and usually local.
Mine is massive and cost me a fiver.
