I haven't really used fluorocarbon much I'm more of a mono man quite a few people on my syndicate use it and I'm thinking of getting some any recommendations?

Berkley CF600 in 12lb behaves very well in comparison to most fluros, it does have its quirks tho, palomar knots on everything, lots of lubrication when tying anything or sliding rubber beads on as too much friction frays it.
also needs stretching out every now and then.

I like the fox illusion Fluor, not clear but their karki colour, found it good with most knots, casts well and great line lay in the water

Do yourself a favour and forget it.
It's spiteful...expensive...casts awful...pick up debris like nothing else and imo offers next to nothing over a good quality mono

I know where you're coming from, but every now and then the zero stretch (almost) and sink like a brick properties come into their own.
But yeah - to use it as a general goto mainline, forget it.
To the OP, I'd recommend the Kontour.
I tried that Fox Khaki stuff and found it bloody awful -must have had a bad batch as I've seen a few people recommend it.

Started using the Gardner Mirage in 14lb after recommendations on here and very very impressed. I've tried Korda and x-line before but this is much more user friendly.

Used 20lb XLine for many years for short range and edge fishing, it did what I required but given the choice prefer mono, like others have mentioned it needs to be cleaned and stretched, palomar knot for me also.

Seaguar Soft Plus is far and away the best flourocarbon mainline I've ever used. Nothing else comes near it in terms of suppleness.

eBay mate. Most of it comes from the States so you'll have to pay import charges. I'm waiting for a spool of InvizX to turn up. 1000yds for £64.74 + £15.87 shipping + whatever Royal Mail bum me by. Ain't cheap.

I've been using X line for over 10 years now and won't be changing . Ok you are a little limited on cast lenghth ( I can get about 80 plus yards comfortably) but the sink properties are great and very good value for 600 spool .
