I am in the market for a new Bivvy after an absolute disastrous 48 hours where I turned up to a lake that I have never fished before which was probably one of the worst looking and run places I have ever come across in my life (im 54) and to make things worse my bivvy poles snapped whilst i was setting up which has resulted in the bivvy going in the bin and not fishing at all!
So I am now looking for a new 1 Man Bivvy. I would like it fit the following criteria.
Cost - Up to £230.00
1 Man Brolly or Bivvy System.
Only used in Spring or Summer, so does not need to be winter hardy but must be 100% waterproof
Not bothered if it has a groundsheet or not.
Would prefer a system that does not let water in the front door (therefore possibly with a "Skirt" around the front edge.
Needs to be quite easy and quick to set up.
Must be big enough to a an XL bedchair and quite a bit of equipment - baitboat etc
Really would appreciate a few pointer or advise please - have been looking on the internet but just going around, around and around.

Ive got the Sonik AXS bivvy absolutely brilliant. Its a bit above your budget but if you look around you can find it for about £240ish. Comes with groundsheet, zip off front, vents etc. If its a little bit too much and your happy to not have the front and groundsheet look at the shelter version which is about £150.
Think for the money it can't be beat

never seen the nash hide xl but id listen to old geezer loads of anglers on here have bought stuff on his recomendation

Check out the Fox EOS bivvy, the Total Tackle version is slightly upgraded with vents etc, I have the 2 man version, and it's brilliant for the money!

Thank you for your responses. Eventually decided to buy the chub airbrid 1man. Arrived yesterday and looks brilliant.
