Just thought I would ask but is anyone else having issues reading older articles on this forum?
For instance the tarty tackle link seems to have disappeared when you go back through them. I remember also seeing an excellent review on reels under the reviews section and that doesn't seem to be there, I think there was a rod pod review as well and I think that has gone too.
Just wondering if this is the same for everyone?

You mean older threads?
They disappear after a couple of years. They still show up on a google search but link to the home page. Shame really, some great threads lost.

If you know more or less what you wanted i am pretty sure Karlos has the data backed up to save "live" server space.
as said if not live after 2 years they get archived

Threads which receive no new posts for x months (can't remember what x is off the top of my head) get archived.
This is to try and keep the main database smaller/faster.
Nowadays with faster hardware / hosting maybe I can STOP this from happening...it might not be needed anymore.
Maybe I can tweak some things and get old threads back in, watch this space...I'll add a To Do to my list

There was some really good threads in the review section that have vanished, I remember someone doing a review on a set of ISO reels and there being a good review about rod pods, all amazing reads and very thorough.

From what you've said, some of the threads might deserve transposing into an actual article...and sticking in the articles section (which I should revamp and add to / promote better)
