Forgive me here and promise I'm not stirring the pot or fishing for a response.
Been away from Fishing for a while and no surprise the same old names still dominate our sport.
While in lock down I've signed up to the Cypography channel and on the whole the content is great, some minor website bugs but hey ho. Love Elliot also!
After watching the Hunter series with Jim Shelly I get the impression he poaches a lot of his fish, which I'm sure is what he said or referred too. It's hard to scroll back on the videos so didn't go back and re listen but I'm sure that's what I heard.
Also does anybody else find him/his videos a bit hard work? Not the most enjoyable fella to watch (Goes off on tangents) but fair play he does put the big ins on the bank.
Thoughts?

Yeah right
I find him irritating
However I never met the bloke but can only take it as I see it And the way he comes across and he does seem to be catch at all costs and bollox to anyone else

Without trying to stir up a hornet's nest I've always had a similar impression of him too. Not at all the way I like to angle but each to their own I suppose

I've never had a problem with Jim when I have met him, a character definitely. Never fished the same lake as him mind so...
As for Elliot. I've mentioned before on here that he comes across as a bit of a twhat/arrogant. I've recently met a couple of new members on my syndicate that have just left a lake he was fishing (banned from now apparently) and my assumption seemed to be correct. Never met him personally though.

I am not "in the loop" when it comes to his angling escapades. Got the impression though that he was keeping his nut down and doing rather well on a South East Res.

Easy enough to find where he's been fishing, he likes to leave a trail of fosters cans. He did at least one of the cypography films whilst poaching a private water. Hopefully he left all the fish in there this time.

To be fair to the man he simply has to poach, There are very few syndicates remaining that would accept his membership.

Would you think him a nice fella if he was coming onto your private land to poach your fish? Can't believe company's still sponsor him.

His carp catching ability can't be doubted though. That is why he continues to find sponsors.

Some rather questionable methods are used though on occasion... I heard he's a dab hand with a trowel and a pack of bricks, and also seems to go through quite a lot of imperial leather....

That just proves the companies sponsoring have the same morals, anything to make a few quid. Wonder how he would feel if someone took his motor with his kit in it and used it for some time then returned it and started blogging about it.

Like said he's probly banned from most waters so if carp fishing is your passion and life what els is he to do? He can't do that much poaching because I'm sure most good carp waters have an angler on all most all the time.
I'm not saying he's right doing it but what other options does he have
