What's people's recommendations for the stiffest coated braid? I've used n trap, jel e wire 25lb, esp loaded, Korda Camo and they're all a bit supple for what I want.

The Rigmorale stuff with the stiff mono on the inside is very stiff and you adapt to suit if you need a hinge. Works really well, it surprised me.

The X Stiff Loaded is probs the stiffest conventional coated braid I've come across.

I'm not sure if they still do it but Atomic Stiffun was the stiffest I've ever used.

I ordered a spool of the green online once.... when it arrived it was almost luminous green! Got lost in the shed after that. What's the other colours like?

the green is toned a bit now a lot darker on the extreme one, and lighter on the "normal" stuff, its pretty good also the lighter one takes a jag pen really well to camo it up, i love the stuff if you want a boom its great, combi rig, hinged stiff rig whatever. behaves like a mono rather than a coated braid so great for stiff booms.

Hydrolink Extreme in Grey. Bit thick but caught lots of fish using it. Paticuarly good for Multirigs.

The nash skinlink is awesome it's all I use now. Very tough coating though, hard to strip but means its durable. I also use a sinker to wrap putty round, or a big sinker as the putty sends to slip on the coating.
