My old man uses strawberry sweetcorn that you can buy in a tin from the tackle shop for his tench fishing. Its about £3 a pop
I have been thinking and was wondering if he could use some sort of flavour concentrate that you would use in a basemix ingredient for boilies into a normal can of sweetcorn for the same effect.
Something along the line of this

Has anyone done this or have any suggestions?

Used to with chum mixers and chick peas years ago
Pesciviva sweet corn was the flavoured stuff years ago but I don't even know if you can still but it anymore

ok so it seems its possible then. Just need to find the right product
I was thinking the neat flavouring for boilies as its concentrated so will be able to be absorbed by the sweetcorn a bit and actually hold the flavour

You might end up adding too much to cover all your bait with a concentrate?
Ribena used to do a stawberry flavour squash that was really thick, that might be a compromise, although possibly still too strong?
I'd be more inclined towards a red colouring though, as suggested some of the baking products can be quite good, or a powdered version would stain them like a good un.

nesquick milkshake powder might do the trick , if you really want the flavour to penetrate something its not going to be easy with sweetcorn , maize takes on flavours easier in my opinion, soaked from dry.

Sweetcorn from the tin does not take flavours or colours very well.
The way I found to get any flavours and colours into sweetcorn was to pour the tin into a saucepan, then add your flavour. Stir well, and leave it for 4hours. Then boil it.
Buying a tin of flavoured sweetcorn is a whole lot easier.
