I've managed to split my Nash Combat Lites so I'm on the hunt for a good pair of light quick drying combats that ideally have a zip off bottom leg to convert to shorts.
I like the look of the Navitas Explorer zip off combats but thought I'd see if anyone has any recommendations?

For combats I don't tend to look beyond Mountain Warehouse or Craghoppers any more. Found both do a good range to cover lined and warm to lightweight and quick drying. Sorry can't remember model names but a couple of places and brands to look at

Never once had a decent pair of regatta trousers. Think they're the most poorly made out there.

I purchased around 6 pairs of regatta trousers ‘now on my third pair with hardly any use' and 6 pairs of craghopper. Not got to wear them yet but they do seem a thicker material but time will tell if they do last. I don't hold out much hope though.

I've just purchased another pair of Craighoppers to replace a pair I've had for 7 years.

I think regatta is budget range and they use the better materials on the craghoppers.I had a waterproof regatta coat once,never again it was utter ****

my company I used to work for used Regatta for our works uniform waterproofs we never had a problem

My waterproof works trousers were Regatta as well.
I convinced the company to let me keep them when I left, 4years old and still going.
In terms of trousers, I avoid fishing tackle brands, you almost know that you are paying Carp Tax for a cheap copy.
Go to a proper army surplus store and get proper genuine surplus combats. They take the ragging from brambles and the like.

I convinced the company to let me keep them when I left, 4years old and still going.
