having been a coleman user all my carping life im now scaling down my brew/cooking gear. My new syndicate will be mostly walking the gear with no barrowing. what are you guys using for space saving stoves and gas bottles? or other fuels?

Got a tiny folding Vango gas stove that I use different size gas canisters on depending on length of session . Really happy with the stove. My kettle is a tiny triangle one, enough for one cup, that said there's some great boiling and drink cups as well, there's some great websites out there for reduced weight cookware for camping, old pop up pots make brilliant teabag containers

Look at the fire midge titanium stove and the life venture titanium cup Chinese copies will be available.
Get a lid for the cup and you can use it as a kettle as well and fit the stove inside the cup

A jetboil flash is self contained and nice and light, worth a look

Have similar experiences with having to travel super light for various reasons, my kit all fits into a small Cotswolds camera bag with my brew stuff. I use the msr range. Top quality kit and built to be very minimal, I use the smaller of the titanium kettles, which happens to fit a Coleman c250 gas Cannister in perfectly, the pocket rocket deluxe stove again by msr which packs down next to nothing ( 5.1 x 2.5 x 7.6 cm ; 81.6 g to be precise) . It's kit that's designed to work in the mountains, probably the best stove I've had, I know not everyone is a fan of screw on top stoves but since using one of these I won't ever go back. Very very good kit, bit pricey but you'll only buy it once. I'll get a picture at some point for reference and post it.
Also one thing that made a substantial difference for me, using the Nescafé sachet coffees, saves space and weight, obviously no milk or various other pots to carry just boiled water and your away.

Optimus terra solo kit which all the following fits inside, a optimus crux lite stove, keith titanium spork, 300ml keith titanium cup and a clipper lighter. Its actually more compact than the gas cans i carry and so quick and efficient.
