Question is do I bite the bullet and join them knowing the baiting has been done for me or go for something totally different baring in mind I only do about 2 nights a month max.
The fish seem to like the bait and have been putting on weight well.

I think if it's a 3 rod water I'd have to have at least one rod on it.

It all depends on how many kilos bait go in every week/day.
If the carp see the bait as a food source without been hooking too much, I would join them. Although, I would just trust your own bait. Trying to be different can be rewarding as well.

I would probably have one at least on the same bait, but I would see if it could be improved or tweaked.
That does not necessarily mean changing the bait at all, but if they fish boilies alone, can results be improved by fishing over particles, pellets or groundbait.
Or maybe, if a base mix is available, then make the bait, but use a different flavour, or maybe add say Betaine or Green Lipped Mussel extract as examples.
Now this equates to me alone, but although I fish Rod Hutchinson's KMG on the reservoir on two rods, on the third I do fish a different pop-up.
Most of my fish have come on the KMG, but every now and again the pop-up produces when the main bait doesn't.

But don't throw the blender in as it gets expensive and the carp can't undo it anyway lol

Do your own thing, I fished a water where most were aprantly on the same bait and I stuck with the bait I had been using for some time.
Some caught more than me but most didn't.
