Beware of hull angling absolutely shocking customer service.
I ordered an item from them 4 weeks ago. Left it 2 weeks with no delivery. So contacted them for them to say they would look into it. A week later still nothing back from them so again i had to contact them asking whats going on and that i would not be ordering off them again. Got a message saying i had been carded by the courier and they would recall the item and refund my money. I have asked them to supply the courier name and tracking number so i can atleast find out why they are saying ive been carded when this is not the case.. Now i cannit get this information out of hull angling.
Absolutely shocking customer service from Hull angling.
Avoid at all cost.

not saying its the case !

however at the moment all couriers seem to be employing just about anyone they can get and often these people deliver stuff to the wrong addresses and all sorts I regularly buy stuff for my partial sighted neighbour and the company used to deliver is normally Hermes and its normally delivered in 3 days some stuff is now taking Hermes 14 days due to people calling in sick parcels are getting lost etc
my Post office guy was saying where they had 1 van for every 2 people now they are not allowed anyone else in the vans etc so may not be Hull Angling`s fault entirely
just saying

I think oldgeezer may have hit the nail on the head

i've ordered some stuff from a place I use regularly with never any problem and I'm experiencing delays. I'm putting it down to the bigger picture

i know my own post office is down to 1 collection per day instead of 2 so there has to be a knock on effect across all delivery services if this is happening across the country

When the courier doesn't get a reply when trying to deliver he leaves a card to say he tried.

Carding is when they leave a card to say they called.

They wont even give courier details to me. So i can chase.
Personally i think they f ucked up and dont want to admit it. I get dozens of deliveries a week with out a problem. The postman is my brother-in-law. So i know he hasn't messed up.
The fact they will not let me chase is wrong.

Probably because they never sent it and rather than admit it blame it on the courier?

It is the responsibility of the sender to chase items and not the receiver. The sender will have all of the relevant details plus if there is a claim then they as the person/company that paid for it will make it.

There are two things going on here though.

You say you haven't received it so it is up to (in this case) Hull Angling to rectify the issue.
At the same time .....
Hull Angling should be talking to the carrier to try to find out where your item is. This is perfectly acceptable.

How Hull Angling deal with it is the thing. I feel pretty sure that as a reputable company they will come through.

Bear in mind the present situation though. Just because you may normally receive things within a few days doesn't mean that is the norm and leeway should be given (by you) for this. Also if the items are "somewhere within the carriers infrastructure" then HA will not be shipping you replacement items until they know whether they are lost or delayed.

Crap happens.

Have patience. You cant use them anyway at the moment.

They could always be out of stock ?? Quite easy atm
If that is the case they could at least let you know and offer a replacement or refund.
Are you sure?
