Has anyone managed to turn OFF the power on indicator on the new delkim rx d receiver. I have just bought a set second hand and been told by delkim to look at section 3.1 on the instruction - all it says is that the light will flash every 2 mins or so to show the power is on. This would drive me nuts at night flashing in the bivvy so if anyone knows how to turn that off give me a shout - one guy told me he had to send the receiver back to delkim for them to turn it off???

Correct if you want to turn the feature off you need Delkim to do a software update on the receiver which is FOC

It's very dull and once your asleep it doesn't bother you.

I find it good cos you don't always remember if you turned it on or off and also that it is working too...

Each to their own but wouldn't have it removed personally

Hide it so it can't be seen but can be heard, the light tells any would be theif here I am making the anti theft a waist of time, or have I missed something?

Just pulses a single flash every two mins, just to let you know its switched on. As it has no visual on/off button. I Wasn't mad on it at first, barely notice it now.

Five min Google and any theif will know how to switch the receiver off, would the light flashing every two mins give away the receiver location? I like many never use a front on my bivvy/brolly.

Its called ON INDICATOR

Delkim puts additional instructions with the new receiver (01/20 manufacture date)

"To turn OFF the ON INDICATOR. Switch ON keeping all three PBs held down until two beeps are heard then immediatly release. Press PB2, the RX-D flashes twice and restart. To turn the feature back ON just repeat the process."

But I think its will work only with new receivers or updated one
