I'm looking for a brolly/bivvy system that is just super quick to set up and pack down as i'm planning on doing plenty of midweek nights in between work this summer.
Currently looking at the Fox R-Series Brolly as it seems quite reasonably price compared to the likes of the tempest and nash hide. Anyone able to give me a rough idea how quickly you can set up and pack down this brolly system?
Any other recommendations?

You can pick up a used tempedt brolly for next to nothing mate, cant recommend it highly enough as many other users on here, takes seconds to erect, it takes longer to actually peg it down

Quite a few different variations and i'm not familiar with them so what one would you recommend, just the V2 brolly?

Depends on how much you want to spend???
I had the V2 and thought it was great. Easy to erect and pack away, which was my main reason for buying it. The "footprint" was plenty big enough for me, loads of room inside, I just found it a bit of a nuisance getting in and out as the doorway was a little low. Not painfully so, but when Trakker bought out the new 100T I went for it. All the virtues of the V2 but with the added bonus of a bit more headroom. It helped that I had some spare cash at the time, but if I'd had to stick with the V2 it wouldn't have been the end of the world.
Now that the new one is out, there are quite a few V2's for sale second hand.
I never use a groundsheet, so haven't spent my dosh on one of those, the only extras I have bought are the mozzie mesh and the skullcap. The skullcap from a V2 fits the new 100T, the mozzie mesh is a different size.
When I had my V2 I was going to get a pair of mesh panels fitted to it, which would have made a difference during the summer months. But the new 100T comes with them as standard, so when I weighed it all up, it was a no brainer to spend the extra on the newer brolly.

I've been using a Nash Groundhog for the past 2 seasons, simple, and quick to put up and very light to carry.

fast and light works great for overnighters, can get storm sides for it too. perfect imo,

If quick and light are priorities you have to consider the Lo Pro mate. It's half the weight of the R Series and cheap as chips compared to some other options too.

Tempest brolly all day long mate, absolute no brainer for me. Can get used V1's for a good price now

I have a TB specifically for a res that gets battered by big winds and it's not as light or quick as the Lo Pro. It's stronger and more stable, but not as quick or light. Both great products.

Ive timed myself setting the Titan Hide up from the bag to up in 43 seconds...i was sweating my balls off tho!

Because of my ADHD i find it hard to sleep. especially on the bank. so i use a basha or sheet of tarpaulin and set up a lean to over my bed chair using storm poles. I prefer this over a bivvy/ brolly as it is really quick and easy to set up and not only that but its lightweight and easy to put away. also you can fit into the smallest of swims and basically fish anywhere you want. i have done a 72hr session under one and been comfortable enough. If it is due to be really windy or rainy then i will swap over to my bivvy. i have also slept under a basha in -3 conditions. was still toasty lol.
