Hi everyone just wanted to know how much bait i should be putting out over my rods for different times of the year. spring, summer, autumn and winter.
How much particle should i be putting out?
how much boilies should i be putting out?
I normally do 24hr sessions so if you could say how much bait per 24hrs of fishing then that would help me out!

There is no simple answer to this. Get on the net, YouTube etc. Watch a good few vids at different seasons. This is part of the learning curve and it's down to you. Just remember you can put more in but you can't take it out. Good luck.

Personally I go off the lake I'm faced with and how it's been fishing.
If you've got nothing to go off and no lake information on stock levels then feed for a single fish. Small mesh bags or small baited traps. Or try baiting up one rod heavier than the other or other 2. See how they respond.
Main thing is to find them regardless. If your on fish singles would be as effective or more effective than baiting and potentially spooking them.
Build your own picture over time and take mental notes. These will help you forever more

It also depends on how the fish in your lake react to baiting up. Also the method of application. I know a lake where baiting heavily with a spod works well( deep water) another where spodding is the kiss of death and you need to introduce bait as quietly as possible.(6ft deep lake) with very experienced pressured fish.

You need an idea of the stock level firstly , if you are fishing a lake with 6 fish per acre then apply less bait , if it has 60 fish per acre you can get away with more bait , remember you have to also figure other anglers into the equation and how much they are putting in. Summer you will use a lot more bait then in winter.

There is no simple answer to this question, it comes with experience. But a pretty reliable method to get you started is to bait in accordance with the levels of activity you are seeing. If they're not that active, or you can't find them at all, stick to singles and zigs. If they're going mental in front of you, fill it in.

My advice is put as little amount of bait as possible in until u get action, then top it up slowly.. You can add more if need to.
