That man surely has an in depth knowledge of a carp's anatomy and behavior.
I didn't realise his angling history too and he has caught some incredible fish along the way

Half way thru' it in the car.
I can listen to any podcast he is on. Certainly half man-half Carp

Such an interesting and knowledgeable fella, I could listen to him for days.
Yeah he's great, listened to him on several podcast's now. Always a great listen
Learnt more in the first 20 minutes about Carp than I have in a very long time!

A mine of information and always delivered in an entertaining manner. I knew about pharyngeal teeth, but not that carp can lose them and that may affect their dietery preferences.

I just listened to the rest of this. I've read his Wraysbury stories before in various books but you can't help but get shivers down the old spine hearing it from the horses gob. Anyone that's ever caught something they really, really wanted can relate to those emotions. Magic stuff.

Simon Scott has a phenomenal knowledge of Carp. Back in the day he was a lecturer at the Sparsholt College with Viv Shears. I remember attending a fishery management course and hanging on every word Simon uttered. I believe he went on to gain a Master of Science Degree in Applied Fish Biology. Currently Simon and Viv own one of the largest Carp farms in the uk. When he talks .......listen

Simon and Viv were my tutors back in the day. He was the same invigorating bloke back then... no matter how hungover or ashamed of the previous nights antics I felt, he'd still have me engrossed.
