Hi, im after a warm waterproof jacket , any recommends please

yes you wont beat this one at any price IMHO

Having owned plenty I've actually concluded that once it's wet and removed it not only becomes a pain to store, but you need to then put on more layers to account for it's removal.
I prefer to layer up with a light waterproof on top, you can then carry a top layer and a back up poncho for less bulk than a big padded coat.
Not what you asked I know, but I spunked 000's before realising i was actually making life harder for myself

Best thing to do is go on eBay and get a decent poncho I got a CAMO one wich is brilliant covers a lot of my body and was £15 best thing to keep you dry and much cheaper than buying a expensive jacket that only stays wet for ages anyway

Totally agree, nothing worse than getting soaked (especially in Winter) and then having to sit in your wet coat, been there done that, much better to layer them

I've been well impressed with the Torrent. Saw the other day they are releasing a new version of it that is slightly warmer and 100% waterproof. Either way it's a superb piece of kit.

Yep that's the kiddie. If I lost mine, I'd buy that in a heartbeat. If anything it looks too warm for the UK, but the zipped vents in the armpits help regulate temperature really well. Pricey but well worth it IMO.
