Yeah that's hideous as well. Can understand people wanting a one man for general use with the ability to convert to two man for taking partner or children but these are just not for me. Having sad that my son is big enough to go on his own.

For me those porches are more for when you have a 4 day session in the rain. perfect to cook in and sit in your chair etc. Cant see it being good for a 2 man myself tbh

It's great for when my 6 year old son comes along, he can sit at his gaming table underneath during the day protected from the sun, also for myself it's ideal i have to avoid the sun as much as possible

I think that's a big plus and one of the main drivers for me. A bit of shade possibly but as you can unzip all the windows less important. 2 man conversion definitely 👍

I've done two week session in my pioneer ultralite but I take minimum kit I can get away with.

Aesthetics aside I can't see that functioning well in gale force winds but then it wouldn't be set up anywhere I fish as its far to big.

Just received my Frontier X, paid £499 for the bivvy, vapour peak and Mozy mesh front, damm nice deal.
Hopefully the social caps will come fast on the market soon, the front height looks damn good

Watched it last night, then couldn't way up if yer just as better off buying the standard Frontier for £50 extra and get everything with it after adding groundsheet and infill panel plus storm sticks
