Man artificially selects genetic strains of fish, rears in captivity, releases into further captivity where the fish biomass wouldn't be supported by nature alone and become reliant on feed their bodies aren't evolved to survive on, pulls it out of the water and gives it a human name
Man does it to earn a living, purely a business and does not care about the history of the pastime, all he is bothered about is creating monsters to pull in the £s. Man fishes for them to try and make a name for himself and has no respect for the history of the pastime by trying to claim a record with such a ****ter, quite ironic?

Fair play to the guy......looks like he has developed a style of fishing that he is confident in and has been consistently catching for some years........add to that he has found an edge that works and wants to keep it quiet sounds logical to me......
All bygone edges were only that until the masses piled in.... hair rigs, HNV bollies, bolt rigs, fluoro pops, stiff rigs, fish meals etc etc

As I suspected, and are people actually surprised?? We use feed stimulants, we use various powdered stimulants? People have mentioned dmpt and other such things, big plus point for British bait manufacturers they don't have to list ingredients I guarantee they are in there somewhere

Why is that any different to the old days where Rod, Kev, Zen, Tim etc etc used to publicise all their fantastic catches in the rags.....
Nothing is any different just that some who don't like social media shouldn't use it then spout off on a carp forum.,.

None of the things we use in bait will hold fish in numbers (other than quantity) then once they have moved off, pull them back in when re-introduced in a match situation where there's a lot of decent baits going in.

Because they were catching a couple of fish on a good night, not 20. Even allowing for stocking densities, and I can never remember anyone saying the fish came to Rod - he just knew where they'd be.....
