Its the contrast between them that makes it special...novice and experianced....serious and not so serious....their deep love of each others differences just makes the whole series magical for me mate.

Just watching the Christmas one now 
Ultimately, for me, it's about one mans passion and nobody else's. No williy waving or being a knob head, it's fishing ffs, it's man at one with nature and a few specimen sized carp along the way and that's what makes it so special for me. Something for everybody whether that be roach, bream, bleak or tench with crap or expensive tackle, it does not matter, it's about been there enjoying it, nothing else, it's a passion, what you get from it and what you take away !
