Just put 5kg out with mine, only didn't open 4 casts in total and that happens with the real spomb so all good

Used an 'official' one for a 8 day trip recently, approx 1 out of 6/7 casts did not open, so no different from chinese spods.

I actually trimmed the catch down on mine a bit later on, since used it and no issues at all!
mine came today any with the exception of the swivel I think it's really well made. equally as good as a original spomb..3 for 6 quid

Got mine today. It looks identical to the Spomb I have, even down to the swivel used. Only difference is that it doesn't say Spomb. Bargain for £1.84 delivered.

Mine arrived as well. Not perfect but will do the job nicely. Will change swivels and reshrink the wire. Bargain at £5.85 for 3.
I've got a legit one too but honestly I prefer spods or just a catapult. Even the real version doesn't open if you even slightly hit the clip. End up making a right old noise reeling a full spomb in and recasting.
My copies came today and seem to be fine
My only problem is I received the large size instead of a midi.
Has anyone received a midi size, if so what was the ebay sellers name?

Crap. I have two of them and received a refund without return. The spring is too stiff so they don't open on impact with the water. I may have a play with them at some point to see if I can get them working...

Got one last week cost £2.24 from seller mightfree haven't used it yet so can't compare to my spomb but opens and closes OK in my hand
Apart from Yonny has anyone received a midi size?
