15 degrees? I feel sorry for the gingers.
I know were not out of the woods until the end of April but it's looking like a early start this year to the better weather. Double figures here until the end of March, not too shabby

The weather has done no good for my fishing, but at least now I'm blanking in comfort.

Doing my first 48hrs of the year next weekend. Unfortunately, due to having COPD the cold weather at night destroys me so i cant usually start my weekenders until April and have to do with days only until then.

Sorry to hear that mate. I used to take the father in law with me, he can't go anymore due to copd

Just takes a little longer to push my barrow to a swim nowadays and get setup. But i did buy a smaller barrow recently so might just have to start making 2 trips!

You're getting out mate, that's the important thing
The father in law is advanced stage copd now, he kept getting repeat lung infections that weren't controlled by the 'normal' anti biotics. The Dr's did a sputum culture and found the particular bacteria was found in damp soils and water...
Weather wise there may well be a Sting in the tail. Reading this am of 2 potential storms each with the potential to pull cold air down from Scandinavia, at the mo mostly affecting the rhs of the country, said it could go as far as Manchester...let's hope not, wouldn't be good for the wildlife!

I woke up to a frozen brolly and mats this morning. Now sat in glorious sunshine as I start to pack away. Weather can't make up its mind at the moment!!

Yeh, had plenty of infections, x-rays, steroids, inhalers, sputum tests etc. Doctors put it down to Covid jabs, never tested positive but had long Covid for 9 months. Good thing is when I need to book docs appointment, I get preferential treatment as COPD is regarded as life threatening. Luckily I'm not at that stage yet. Ex smoker as well. Also means I have to go easy on the Spiced Rum!
And I really need to test my new Deeper as had it for months and not used it yet!

Yeh, looking a bit chilly in the evenings so have packed my longjohns as well! Like to be outside till last light before i get in me bag and watch a film.

I checked the water temperature yesterday, 13.4c and that's on water with plenty of shade. The fish are enjoying the rays and it won't be long before they've got jiggy jiggy on their minds in lots of waters.
