Fishrite and badger, nearly all my gear was made up of this as a kid, good old Dad.

I know they're still about but does any one use one of those Nash speed load ruck box things? Used to see them all over Bantons/Wyre back in the day, always wanted one.

Lol. The one piece and SkeTex were the dress code of the day. Took ages to get used to the boots as they don't come in left or right. Was thinking of wearing the SkeTex this weekend 😁

I think sportex still produce rods as seen plenty of brand new ones for sale, albeit at very high prices for the german market

I remember Andy Little Bivies and Dam reels - I had some North western rods for a while - they use do the kevlite which was similar to the armalite from what i can remmeber.

Was it silstar who did a baitrunner reel with an integrated alarm, or maybe LED's? Or something equally weird? Am sure I remember something....

Browning, they made tackle and guns, some slightly iffy match reels.
