Just take into account if a high percentage have the same opinion like you and leave it to the last minute to buy their licences the likelihood is the website won't be able to cope with the volume of traffic when we can go back fishing.
And you maybe stuck not being able to get your licence anyway. Your choice but just food for thought.

Here's a couple of words you snowflakes seem to run away from: "personal responsibility", I don't litter, I pick it up when left by others.
You have absolutely no idea what I do or not do for the environment so making your half baked assumptions is based on ignorance and supposition. Are you in 'Fishery watch'? Who are pro-active and work without funding, much like the original Anglers Cooperative Association under the tutelage of Alan Edwards, who were around long before you picked up a bent pin and a bamboo cane. I was a long term ACA member before it became a government outlet, trumpeted as having a voice in parliament which the AT does. Alan Edwards took more polluters to court, and won, than the EA ever did and he did this without any rod licence money.
Sometimes you post a decent amount of sense, sometimes you just like the sound of your own voice.
What voluntary work do you do for the environment, club or syndicate work parties don't count.
When the EA actually put back the effort commensurate with the funding they get from coarse anglers then I'll be more positive in my support.
Desk jockey muppets and mutual back slappers like the AT are just as bad.

All this over having to pay £30 / £45 and only getting maybe 10 months of fishing shocking really. it's not expensive for a years fishing when you could use that many boilies on a 48 or 72 hour session

If you wish to use 4 rods it's your choice and you should pay. On many day ticket/ commercial waters two is plenty for fish safety. I have had sessions in spring and summer when keeping one rod in the water is hard enough.I think four rods is greedy given the size of most UK lakes. Where does it stop.
