Well Crawley angling society have announced they are reopening lakes from Wednesday but with a draw for swims if there are too many people so members could turn up then lose out in the draw and get sent home again lol

Syndicate I belong to has just emailed me, it's game on from Wednesday. Sod's Law, I am working this week. But at least I have got next week off, booked the days in January. I must be psychic

FB Post from The Angling Trust says fishing is good from Wednesday but up to clubs / syndicates to manage SD......now as half the country is scared to death I imagine lots of lakes will have plenty of space on them......

If that was aimed at me as it was posted as a reply to me I am a key worker and worked through the lock down including weekends on call so definitely not hiding at home. Two of my three sister work for the NHS and one of them two of her three sons als work for the NHS, my eldest neice is a doctor and her husband a surgeon. Knowing what they and NHS staff have had to endure for the last two months then reading your comment is insulting. Go catch your carp as it's no great achievement.
