so thats basically 15'000 people buying two packs since most people use 3 rods. That surprises me. I mean on the plus side thats 60'000 twigs, hopefully he only put in a minimum order which is almost depleted and can try and make a new safe version 2... or just stop selling them..

Will be interesting to see how the European carp fraternity reacts, there is a huge huge market out there and this will probably give his company the vast majority of his sales.

Not 30k, 300k! But I imagine he has got his eyes on the European market and won't be too fussed if it's banned into oblivion back home. Apparently a former employer of Hamidi was approached and rejected it on ethical grounds...

Problem is in a month or so there will be numerous china copies available everywhere... One can only hope that plastic will be of bad quality so they will fall apart lile spombs etc do...

I don't think with all the bans in place there is not enough revenue to encourage someone to copy and reproduce in China.
Most of our consumer electrical goods are made out there, they typically have the best of everything when it comes to manufacturing capabilities.
I don't think it's the Chinese fault more like the person getting them to do it who is probably some clueless western person trying to make a quick ££

He's dug in so deeply, he clearly sees no way back and despite all the obviousness, carp care and survival has been deleted from his rationality radar....
