When the retail price is £80 and its selling for £55, I would think most people would consider it a bargain. Why compare it to something that's not available anymore?

The diem stick is still available for £35, it just has an NGT sticker on it now.

I didn't know the NGT is a rebadged Diem so sorry mate.
Is there really going to be that much difference between the NGT one and say yhe Daiwa Infinity or Orient ones then?

I honestly don't know. I've had the diem one for a while and it's fine. Noisy, but does the job. I had the Korda plastic one before that and the carbon is much better. I'm tempted by one of the orient ones after Yonny pointed them out, but I very rarely use a stick these days due to the poxy seagulls.

The NGT, the diem and the Gardner propela look like the same product to my eyes. I have an NGT one and it's fine, just slightly heavier than the Diawa.

They might of sorted the issue out now,when you get it go give a try.If when you give it some force you can feel any flex by the port then I would be concerned

I've got infinity and fox r20, had both since they came out and use the fox most and never had an issue.

😂😂😂 I've done well with sticks. Had an Infinity since they first came out and both sizes of Fox and not killed any touch wood. I did use to destroy the Korda ones for fun though😂😂
Got the Infinity when I was on Welly so a lot of boilie went through that, no flex whatsoever and bloody light, however very, very noisy😂😂
