I really miss the old Nash range along with some of Hutchy's old range.

Does anyone remember the 50/50 mix that was popular from Hutchy's boilie range it was a 50% of superfish and something else I think, liver rings a bell?
Also mulberry florentine, nouvelle fizz and Secret Agent... I might have to see if the ones around now smell the same for a trip down memory lane!

Anyone remember a mix (think from British groundbaits?) called 'Protiemix'?
You could make it up as a paste with water or add eggs to skin it as a boilie? There was a matching groundbait called 'Meatymix'....
My first carp was caught on a Hutchinson boilie mix called 'Blackjuice' back in the late 70's
Those early Hutchy mixes like Seafood blend etc. must've been some of the earliest readymixes available before the likes of Richworth came along with the all conquering frozen Tuttis, pineapple Hawaiian etc.

Duncan Kay's purple patch boilies .( black cherry)
R/W tutti, salmon supreme and honey Yucatan.
Then moved onto Activ 8 .
Remember buying some Nash whiskey chocolate from the back of a car at a carp show think it was in the Luton area ( possibly Dunstable)

The original Activ8 was a brilliant bait for both carp & barbel. The newer version isn't a patch on the original. Solar Neptune mix with 3ml Squid & Octopus & 2ml Hutchy's Monster Crab. Boy did that bait catch some fish but the smell was something else. My mum went ballistic when I made that in her kitchen, she ended up going to stay with my gran for a week waiting for the smell to go

Nutrabaits Trigga for me but when I stopped using that ($$$) Lea Valley Baits Pink Zing was a good bait for me late 90's early 2000's
