Good to know they are nice chaps when on the bank isn't it. Here's me thinking nobody could really be a knob like that in real life could they. Not without getting a good hiding everywhere they went. Must be perceived perception

I must admit it seems more and more difficult to get some peace and quiet when fishing in recent years.
Whenever I go to a busier water it's seems like you get a constant stream of Anglers seeeking info:
Any good? Seen anything? Much out lately? Where are you fishing? What are you doing? Etc
It's like Groundhog Day having the same conversation over and over again.
I've met some great friends over the years through Angling and had some interesting conversations with all kinds of people but in recent years seem to only bump into people that think I'm really interested that they can get the bestest bait ever ever for £6 a kilo!
Like others have mentioned Bit Pits and other species seem the only way to relax and get some solitude.
I quite like this 15m Angling Trust reccomendation 😂

I have one, had it quite a few years. Bought it off EBay.
Says “Do not disturb” in red. I have wrote please underneath this lol. Bought it for a park lake I was fishing. In my rucksack now. Just pin it up behind my shelter

Sometimes i will put up a camo netting when i fish on rivers , if i can , just to hide from people so they don't try pestering me especially when i'm fishing close in , sometimes i use them to hide me from the fish , people seem to get the message if you have a camo netting up

Fishing was always what you yourself made it. A number of posts on this thread are quite frankly sad as they are letting others dictate their enjoyment of their passion.
It's not a UK thing, there are ****ers in every country that hold carp.
I've been robbed on the bank and threatened with violence for returning fish to the water.
If the day comes that I get annoyed Mr delkim swim turns his alarms up too loud or billy bodgit uses his mallett too many times or "God forbid" I watch a korda video?
No, not for me. "Victor meldrew carp syndrome" seems to be the new covid on the forum.
But tomorrow I have 400g of salted caramel tigers and a river bend I want to fish, and do you know what? It's Xmas eve for me

its not just carpfishing its fishing in general. everything has to be hardcore this and hardcore that its sickening to see how its become over the last few years . BUT here in sweden we are so few carpanglers that you dont get to meet the fukktards .
nice to see that the lockdown and such has brought the country together...
