I think for every one of us that disaproves and can see its a death trap there's many more of his followers ordering using and see no problems whatsoever,just read the comments on groups etc, calling anyone that diaproves haters,negative....its unbelievable that they actually sit on the banks at the weekend and see no problem with it

They are dire anglers. Zero experience, just like me when I started out and I can tell you now the 20 year old me would have used it. Definitely. And then got pissed off that I didn't catch more fish and had to pva every cast.

Not easy for Embryo. I was told that they really didn't want to be seen to be attacking Ali and making it personal especially before they had seen the product. I don't think anybody really thought the product would be as bad as it is.

nothing to do with Mary Whitehouse or being "woke". This is very simple. This is a massive backwards step for carp fishing, how anyone can't see that is beyond me. If you agree with this you might as well just chuck trebles out.
Over the last few years there's been massive steps forward in carp care and educating anglers how to look after their catch. And quite rightly too.
I am hoping that the backlash against this product that so evident in this thread actually ripples down to the target audience and they're actually a bit embarrassed to tie the thing on, a sort of peer pressure being applied to cause people to really think twice about using it.
