Under the traffic filters, residents will still be able to drive to every part of the city at any time – but in the future, at the times when the filters are operating, you may need to take a different route (e.g. using the ring road) if you want to travel by car."
That's after your 100 allowed trips a year, so basically twice every weekend you cant drive through your city centre, not town centre. I live inside the M25 and work in the city I don't think I've ever driven through the city a 100 times in my life let alone in 1 year

I'm no eco warrior, I don't give a **** about climate change etc but what the last couple of years has taught me is a lot of people can't think for themselves. They see somthing online and go with it and let these seeds fester and grow in their heads

I live up north and we need to be encouraging people to go out and go into towns as the high streets are turning into boarded up ghost towns not putting restrictions on travel.If it is around schools at certain times to keep children safe and stop parents travelling a mile down the road in their huge gas gusling 4x4's then it's a good idea.

I don't disagree with that. We need our high streets, like we as anglers need our local tackle shops.
Would you drive an extra mile or two if where your tackle shop was turned into a one way street? I dont know you personally but I've been on here long enough to think I can safely say you would

Once they've got us all in electric cars, they'll be able to stop our cars if they want.
I can imagine it now, ‘the law' type in registration plate....and then choose from a list of options:
Disable car
Limit speed
Send warning message to the centre screen telling them they just got fined
