Yeah I'm out in it, fortunately the lake is deep and has not frozen despite the -4 last night, I'll stay for a few days so long as it doesn't freeze over

Spent today trotting a float on the itchen .

Well it's a bit chilly this morning, targets are a 20lb pike before lunch then a 3lb perch after. At least I know the river will still be wobbly

It's the long nights what I don't like
On the + side im managing to find alot more features on my syndicate
due to the lack of anglers fishing at the moment

Sad ,it's still autumn, learn to appreciate the seasons and other species / different forms of angling. Carp must be one of the easiest fish to catch nowadays with so many venues stocked with them and so much tackle and information available. The hardest part is getting on the waters to fish for the ones you want to catch.

My place is only a couple of acres, but has been frozen for the last three days.

Started snowing here in Medway. Had to move my car in case we get snowed in like last time. I live In a steep sided valley. Impossible to get out of in slightly heavy snow.

I'm between Oxford and Reading, no snow yet - but it can't be far off.
