Totally agree with this, great glove but the leather on the casting finger is too thick and inhibits feeling the line well when casting.

I find it ok to be honest. Far better than seeing my skin through the Korda one after a single day anyway. I used to have a reubon Heaton one, now that was perfect.

A mate used the Breakaway version for beach casting, back in the early 80's, worked well for him.

I have a gardner casting glove and although I've never put it through it's paces I do think it's mint and would withstand a good battening I've had mine several years and it's a good bit of kit
