I wear a mask in the supermarket to save the staff and customers feeling awkward
I rarely bother in the petrol station except one I went in with big mandatory mask signs, asked for a couple of free ones if he had them for me and my mate. Sure he said, **** then charged me £1.25 for 2 blue paper ones and about 6 people came in without one

Presumably that's 15 to 20% effective in prevention of infection for the wearer but its logical that it would be much more effective if worn by an infected person to prevent transmission at the source.

It's simple. A mask is 0 per cent effective if not worn. Once put on then there is a measurable increase in the efficiency in terms of transmission for the wearer and for others. And any increase is a good thing.

Condoms aren't 100 per cent effective either - I expect if some of you asked your parents they'd back that up...

Don't wear them any longer and if folk have a problem with that then they're the ones that continue to be ruled by fear. I suppose in a way it's a positive moving on from behind that sofa.

I don't give a hoot what Boris / government is accused to have done, at some point they'll fall on their sword.
I've not even had a cold since this covid has started so it says to me masks must have some effect, I've not had covid either.

I totally understand people not wanting the jab, personal choice. But refusing to wear a mask is just stupid. It takes **** all to wear a mask. Most people spend their whole lives doing something they'd rather not (work). So why kick off about a mask? Even if it makes 1% difference, just wear the thing ffs.
And as for people who take the piss about those that do I.e. "face nappy" (TeeCee).... **** off you absolute ****. Grow up.
