What a great contributor to this forum. Only knew him on here and I will miss his helpful posts and private messages. Good to hear that he was surrounded by people close to him.

Not once did Gerry moan to me he was very poorly...his words were to me I've beat the medics prognosis once and I will do it again...what a humble guy and a true warrior who was English and proud...

Gerry once SHOUTED at me on a forum post, didn't know that was a thing until then. Met him at a show after that and found him a genuinely nice guy and very knowledgable. This place will be poorer without him. RIP OG

Although we never met face to face, we got on so well, we often communicated with each other over messenger, FB, etc.
Our last little 'chat' was just over a week or so ago, he was fading fast but was still the old Gerry we all knew and loved, he had asked someone to buy a few bird feeders and fat balls so he could watch the birds feeding through the window at the hospice he was in.

RIP me old mate, we'll all miss ya, but you have left us with some very fond memories.
