A friend of mine is using the Orient Bombus (not sure which diameter/length), and I should get my 26/1300 AnacondaS (for two-handed use) this week. I have not seen any other throwing sticks which can achieve similar distances.

Anyone remember The Osprey tackle throwing sticks in Blue Ally with holes cut out along there lengths to cut down on weight. They done a Cobra style curved stick as well as a straight.

Yes I remember the cobra style one.
I was on my hands and knees and used the stick to help me push myself to get up...... and bent it. It wasn't mine

Nash Cybershot.... think you can still get them.
I have one and love it, only problem is you need hard baits for them as very prone to splitting them. As Gerry has said also require a certain technique in how you get the range on them, either to the moon or in the margin when you first start using them.

I have the Osprey throwing stick, first thing I did was tape the "Loading Hole" up, it slows down the process of firing bait out. Far quicker to load it through the "Muzzle" as then it becomes a flowing action rather then popping boilies in one at a time. Plus I fitted a "Bung" in it which made it easier to use. Never really got on with it though and consigned it to back of shed, a bit too heavy and made too much racket and ringing sound using it.
I also noticed a lot of people struggled with them and baited up the margins and everything else up to where they was fishing, I had same problem till I fitted the "Bung".

NGT carbon throwing stick. Amazing value at about £35. Super light and well made. I've used this next to a Daiwa stick that cost over £100 and they are almost identical.
Not sure if it's still available to buy but if not then this Angling Direct stick look like an identical copy.

Ngt stopped selling them however the Corus one on ebay is the same stick and yes they are excellent 👍

Looks identical but the daiwa is much lighter than the advanta. I imagine the same to be so with the NGT and corus offerings.
