I never claimed to be an expert - it's abundantly clear that younger people support green initiatives.

Look on the bright side, when 15 minute cities are standard you won't have the problem of not being able to travel to your lake, since you are not allowed to enter nature.

Is a parking ticket trying to take away your freedom and restrict where you can go and how often?If councils impose these restrictions what is stopping them from doing even more and this could just be the start of how they control people's lives.

Not quite the full story again , WA have put a 6 month stop on sea fishing each year to protect vulnerable species. Like the Oxford traffic story you really must try and read everything not just the big writing at the beginning.

You are being told to go a different route
I have no axe to grind in this, I got a fine recently because I drove down a school road between 3-4pm. Yes I was thinking you cheeky c**** when I got the fine through but the next time I drove pass the road there was big signs saying no entry between 3-4pm so it was my fault. Do I think it's all some sinister campaign to take out freedoms away. Or do I think you know what they got a point.

If they see people just accepting this,what could come next.Times we are allowed to leave our homes other than for work,how many times you can travel to certain areas,what if you have family who live in a restricted area so they limit the times you can visit your loved ones.

You can still visit who ever you want when ever you want. You just might not be able to drive straight through the city centre you might have to drive another 5 mile around the ring road for example

I don't know where you live or how old you are but I'm guessing if you are over 30-35 of age I can guess your local town centre used to be a two way street when you was a kid but now it's a one ways system for busses and taxis ?
Was you angered about your freedom being taken away about that ?

Like I say this is just the start,if they see they can get away with restrictions on where and when you can go then other things will come
