Is it though? Not really. I reckon the fact Ali left the biggest firm in the game ,coupled with his number of fanboys, has done far more to get people talking than rebadging someone else's products as their own....

That doesn't make any sense mate. They've just sold the company and handed the product to someone else. They don't have a website to visit, they have no stock, and can no longer make them. What exactly are they advertising?

I agree Ian, but we need to bear in mind their own products will take time to get through the whole design/qualification process to get to market. With rebadging that work is already done so you'll see it all far sooner.

In regards to this product I think that is is a quality product. I've had the Carp Couture version (I did not realise that they ripped it off until I read this thread) having gone through so many rubber or mesh versions over the years and it has been brilliant. Had it for at least 5 years now and still going strong, which for c.£20 is money well spent in. I hope the new badge doesn't add a wedge onto the asking price (though I expect it will)

Totally agree mate, I went from getting through several bags a year (was costing a small fortune lol) to getting 2 of these and they're both still going strong. They were a revelation for me.

Of course mate. I'd have thought they would have been able to bring out something of their own by now though. Or they should probably have done a bit more of that before launching the company like they did,with just a plastic rig box monstrosity and some overpriced hats to offer

I think covid has slowed the whole job down mate. I agree the company launch has been all over the place but knowing what most anglers are like it's probably done OMC a favour with the mass market waiting with bated breath for the next wonder product

Without doubt covid has played a huge part in it all. But even so it's been quite a **** show from Ali etc.with this. I just expected better from the man who many claim is the reason for Korda getting to where it is now.

I think he helped with the media side of it,getting fishing onto Sky then mainstream TV.I honestly think omc will be successful and become a big player in the market,the packaging they are using is a massive step in the right direction
