A place I lived at some time ago was terrible for mozzies. One of the locals put me onto brewers yeast tablets. Apparently you need to take it well in advance. The second year I started in February and come summer I got zero bites compared to maybe half a dozen every night the year before. I still use them now if I plan to fish a mozzie lake that year.

I use the incognito pump spray and find it great for 95% of the time.
On the odd occasion i have had to resort to the 50% deet pump sprays from jungle formula or boots.
I prefer not to use the deet unless absolutely necessary as i have had it melt various bits of plastic, including my cheapo easy reader glasses.

Never heard that one before.....probably us catching them does more damage though let's not go down there....
Regarding deet content if your talk to folk who live in countries where malaria is a risk nothing less than 50%
I've used Avon skin so soft not worked for me.
Some lucky folk don't get a reaction though I do, netherless they are still getting bitten just lucky that it happens in this continent and not one with malaria etc.
What deet does to plastics is irrelevant it's not representative of our skin.

. . .not sure about the current nosilife products but I distinctly remember getting slated on a Fishingwarehouse thread back in the day for wearing Craghoppers anti-mosi t-shirts (which worked well by the way). . .however it transpired they were def impregnated with some kind of anti carp chemicals so I ditched them. . .!

I'd say it's relevant when it melts the shades on your boat race and bleaches the colour out of your clothes. Savage stuff. But no doubt effective.

No worries though It's on my skin a lot longer than it would be the carp and I've never had a problem.
If you look on the web the products are advertised for activities like fishing .
I had a good search on google, can't see anything so I'm just going to treat it as hearsay keep calm and carry on.

Look what happens to plastics overtime in the sun.
Plastics don't have any regeneration capabilities like living tissue so I'll keep using it thanks.

We could go round and round here but let's face it “we” do more harm to the carp than any product agreed ?
Please educate me in how a product like nosilife if that's what your referring to would have any more effect than any other item of clothing - I would like to understand.
