We're very fortunate to be allowed to fish at all given that tennis golf etc aren't allowed.
If we start getting bad publicity due to breaches then we'll lose it entirely and the venues will lose their livelihood.

Would I report them, yes if I knew details that could help catch them. They're breaking the law thats been put in place to help save lives.
Any bull excuses are just that and demonstrate their own arrogance.

Most venues have times that are designated as Nights so that would generally suggest a time to leave.
Outside of that, just look at whether its dark, if it is then its night.

I'd love to be able to fish right now with my brother but he's in the next town so one of us would have to leave our local area and we can't fish right together as we're different households so we aren't doing it.
Could I do it and probably get away with it, yes but I'm not going to because not I'm not an idiot.

Good point, I know a couple of river anglers who solely fish during the hours of darkness and into the early hours, as this gives them a better chance of a fish. Surely this is no different to someone going out for a run late at night, which would be deemed acceptable

In today's papers, there is talk of pubs opening in April but not serving beer. Surely it can't be much longer before they allow night fishing

Surely the fishery should have been fined aswell for allowing it, most lakes near me are strictly opened for day light hours only, although I fish a private lake to myself, on private property and the owner has said they don't mind if I do fish overnight, but I have stuck to days as that is the rules of this lock down. Would I grass any one up? Depends if someone on there own probably not but if a couple of blokes taking the piss having a social the I'd think about it but probably still wouldn't as I just don't like grassing lol

The fishery is an open park lake, although mkaa have the fishing rights, they have zero control of who turns up

Ah I see...

My local have said all along that the take away option just isn't financially viable for them. The price they have to charge to make a profit / cover running costs etc. means that they're selling at a price way above the supermarkets for the same product.
