Definitely worth a go for a cadac or a jet boil type stove

At £10 for a can cosy plus buying the warmer and a bit of time fiddling about, the ridgemonkey version is looking good value to me tbh

I do the water method. As Chuffy says, the water doesn't need to be anywhere near boiling, after 30 seconds dip it in and you get a roaring flame.

Same here, after struggling in the cold this weekend with my cadac cant wait for the richmonkey warmer to be released. At £20 if it does what is says it does it will be the best £20 every spent for me

Don't know how to add the picture of weather app but Saturday early morning was 5 with real feel of - 2 due to heavy winds.

Don't know where in the UK you were to get 15 deg this weekend but certainly wasn't at bluebell lakes

trouble is if you want to fish in harsh winter sessions YOU DO need one of these

as the stove is total rubbish without it in freezing conditions as they produced a butane stove without a pre heat tube

OR READ POST 14 AND SAVE LOTS OF MONEY

Or get a Coleman's
