Bit samey I know. But I really enjoy the bait talk. Perhaps a little more information as to why you used/changed flavours/additives at the time of when you were rolling your own. You have eluded to this before. But sometimes we all get caught up in adding certain things for the sake of them being great ingredients. It would be good to hear a forward/out-of-box thinking angler like yourself to explain the reasons why you do what you do.

I would echo what others have already said Sam and would like to say thank you.
I listened to the Shaun Harrison podcast today while working and it was excellent.
Then started on the Steve Briggs episode which i will finish tomorrow.

After reading this thread I had a listen to to the Shaun Harrison episode as well, very good, once I'd convinced myself I wasn't actually listening to Jack Whitehall when your mate was speaking I was fine

I much prefer nowadays listening to a podcast on the bank rather than reading or surfing as you can watch the water at the same time.
Some of the Korda ones have been really engaging, Ting Tong, Lee Jackson, Pete Reagan, Si Hartop but some have bombed for me at least. Simon Pitt and Toby Clarke seem to put the guests at ease and get the best out of them.
The carpcast was good to start with then JC just got to be a pain in the arse, always trying to better the guests etc and his rants were just plain boring.
The Spodcast has some good guests but all became samey, same Oxfordshire waters and people with something to promote.
Baitworks is one of the better ones, Robin Dix, Chris Ball, Reg Bampton... all ones to listen to again and again.
Nash ones I've mainly enjoyed, I quite like the banter between Alfie and Tom, would be nice if they could keep some sort of frequency to the uploads.
DNA again some are okay others not so, PB products likewise.
Mostly carp fishing I have again enjoyed, random muttering of a newbie but interesting all the same.
CAC, again some okay some not so, a bit rambling at times, other times it seems whilst one is talking the other is preoccupied doing his tax returns or something similar 😂 Dom on the spodcast is a bit guilty of this too!! One of the guys for some reason reminds me of the intern from the tv series W1A😉
Not listened to the new one the day to day carp angler but I'll get around to it sometime.
Non fishing wise, Athletico Mince is hilarious, the Peter Beardsley and Steve Maclaren sketches are brilliant, Bob Mortimer at his finest. Top flight time machine, again very good a bit sweary but still funny. Peter crouch and the Ellis James/John Robbins well worth a listen too.
Finally the BBC actually do some great story based/ informative ones...Mortem, crowd science, passenger list, death in ice valley, the assassination and 13 minutes to the moon.

Recently subscribed too the James English anything goes and it's brilliant especially the Darren Gee and Tony Bellew interviews.
