It looks like corrosion to me mate, I think the Delkim storage tube I keep them in, may be playing a part in all this. I've mailed them so we're see.

It looks like corrosion to me too,there is some on the weight.Have you packed them away wet in the storage tube

Most probably, don't think I've ever dried a bobbin 👍

Bobbins hung on the piss, had corrosion, metal balls wouldn't roll with the line. Got rid and went with elstow bobbins with mcf chain

You know delkim will tell you to dry them and put them in a nice warm place between trips

Always fully dry all my gear, alarms, swingers, even unzip my rod holdall to let the reels/spools fully dry.
