Bloody hell. I've got the first Subsurface somewhere. I think it's stored under my ottoman bed 😂 I'm never going to read it so if anyone's reading this and wants it, I'll take £60 before it goes on e bay 😂

What's wrong with a photocopy can't you get someone to do that for you?
I used to get books from the library and take them into work to photocopy.
Not been to a library for a while do they no longer keep fishing books?, they used to be able to transfer them from branch to branch.

It was the round inked one over the top of the postage label, always assumed that this was when it went through the sorting office

Is the book any good? What waters are covered?

I thought the reproduction quality of the new book was pretty poor in places, some of the pictures are printed so dark and text is blurred on a few pages.

Having only read the Ivy pool chapter thus far, which was a good tale to be fair. Although, much of the book has been spoken about to a lesser extent in the past, more or less.

I'm putting mine on ebay tonight he he.

I agree that print quality is not the best, which is a bit of a surprise given that hey knew how popular it would be.

In terms of content not read it yet, but covers Burghfield, Northwycke, Spitfire Pool, Ashmead, Wasing, the Thames plus a few others so a good variety of venues. I don't doubt for a second that it will be a good read
