They have rubberised cases,don't they ..that would put me off ,we all know what can happen here with rubberised cases ,after a while they can sometimes go 'weird'.., like Atts ,like Mmxr reciever and so on...

That on its own would definitely put me off buying them,I know they have the four year warranty ,but yeah...

Also ,I see lots of txi for sale ,perfectly viable alarms, I still use my black sticker ,Txi plus .. makes me laugh when some jump on the bandwagon to 'upgrade '..or to stay 'relevant ' ..

Just my humble,viable opinion of course ...

TXIds are really NOT complicated to use . . .just requires looking at the instructions initially.
As someone else has mentioned - if you can operate even 10% of what your smartphone is capable of, you can operate a Delkim bite alarm.

Think they need some marketing help - the release of the v2 (unecessary IMO) and EVD in quick succession at a similar price point is confusing tbf. . .

Likewise I switched back to my faithful ATTs, they're the clear type including the receiver so never had an issue with them getting sticky.
I bid for them in a charity auction many many many years ago, I think they were the 1st clear ones Dal made, paid way over the odds 😂😂, could never bring myself to sell them.

The v2 are what the txid should have been, they are so much simpler to use. I set them up with the instructions once and haven't had to look again, with the v1s I needed the instructions every time I used them.

I think you are spot on here. They will definitely sell more than than the Txi--d. They are same quality as the txi-d just simplified to how it should have been. Can see current users also switching.

I got rid of my TXI's and bought the ECU's after a recommendation from my mate,thought I had damaged them in march when I was out in that storm and a fear of the water levels rising on the pool I got them in,only problem was I went arse over tit at 1am and they went straight under water,luckily enough they still working,not many alarms around that are waterproof like the ATT's as well.
Also the TXI's I had ended up having to be repaired due to the water levels at same pool engulfed them one session a few years ago had to get them repaired

No difference to V1s then! The only thing I fiddle with is the sensitivity dial and the mute button on the alarm heads and the 'do not disturb' function on the receiver . . . .really not difficult . . .

It seems most of the comments about these new alarms is the price,lots of negativity on the you tube video ive just watched

when i first seen they were releasing them i had in my mind around 80-85 quid each...baring in mind all the technology,moulds etc is already being used in the v2

The moulds are same so that the cases are interchangeable 👍
The electronics are different also the pcbs and receivers are different

Like many British manufacturers there is always going to be a higher cost

I watched a video on YouTube on jags rucksack dominated by folk moaning about the price

Not sure what background work wise here but manufacturing costs have risen a lot hence the cost today for uk manufacturing

Sort of, with other bobbins you still get a different tone, just no visual indication.

I thought it was the bobbin that detected it was going down rather than up?
