I think it was pre forum rebuild J so probably gone. Iirc Terpines is ringing a loud bell too, it's all widely available if you search Propolis constituents or properties
@ Adam, I'm surprised they couldn't guess the Asafoetida, those little white pots from the asian supermarkets, then again I guess unless you cook with it you really wouldn't come across it...but once smelt never forgotten

One of the best winter mixes I ever used was nutrabaits 4 seasons with Grave flavour and clove essential oil. The other one to think about is black pepper oil.

John Bakers bunspice sounds ideal for your purpose, a blend of 7 essential oils hes put together that seems to include a lot of cold water classics, clove, cinnamon etc
Never used it personally but so much confidence in JB's gear for carp and barbel i wouldnt hesitate in doing so.
