Newhaven is the back door of England Nick..! I expect Dieppe will have it, they didn't in November but I'm sure over the winter they will.
No major delays flying with the new system for me so far..

Me at the end of April , but Newhaven is a step back in time which I find great , but will have to update their squeaky wire gates to accommodate this system

Done this in Spain over the weekend. Process to register/ get in was a bit of a faff but no dramas:
1. Queue up to complete digital form and provide finger prints and photo
2. Queue up to go through digital barrier using passport
3. Queue up to get a stamp from one person in the usual passport control booth.
The way out was much better...
1. Digital barriers were broken so we all walked straight through them to get a stamp from the person in the booth
Does anyone know if that means I'm sorted for travel all over Europe now?

Glad I did it now on a 6am flight rather than a TUI flight full of beered up Brits, that would be entertaining to watch😂😂

So what's the implications going to be for people travelling on the euro tunnel ?
I have had a little read and it seems they will need a fingerprint . They may request this before travel or if not I guess they will take it at Folkestone . Potentially a digital fingerprint reader ?
I'm worried it's going to cause issues and delays

Some info can be found here
LINKY POO™ https://www.getlinkgroup.com/en/our-group/eurotunnel/ees-at-eurotunnel-terminals/
Says it can accommodate up to 53 & 59 vehicles either border but talks of kiosk and it's been tested to cope even with busier days.
EDIT, Looks like the kiosks are designed to enable biometrics to be taken when in the car, like a standard kiosk, see half way down this page

Nice one vossy. I know what and where it is now . They constructed a large building near the entry to the terminal last year .
They will have you drive through that prior to going through passport control
