I just got my old man a set of these in red, he absolutely loves them, they have the magnet ball line clip as well, 3x for £20, absolute bargain. Funnily enough he was upgrading from his old Korda Stows as well.

Hi, i use Solar Arms with various Bobbins on them (Mainly Keiths Mag Heads, last ones the Glow Heads).
Always fancied some with sliding weights on thou (Got weights to attach to Bobbins)
So fancied the Carper arms, so messaged them. Problem is thread on arm ends, is M5.
Avid Carp do a similar arm with a sliding weight on it, same again, thread on ends M5.
Most of my Bobbins, Hockey Sticks etc i have, 2BA threads on them.
So still looking for a Arm with a sliding weight on.
Just a note. 2BA male thread, will fit into M5 female if a small bit of Play.
But a M5 Male thread will not fit into a 2BA Female (M5 male too bit a diameter).
Approx 2BA thread 4.5mm, M5 thread 5mm.

The only 2 I found were Matrix which are too bulky and Fox have released a new variable hockey/snag ear, but as usual they''ve made sure it's not that interchangeable with other brands and have put a male thread on the end of the hockey...grr.

I found the Safe Liners a) very hard to see and b) very difficult to get it to sit right. It always wanted to twist or sit at a funny angle. Not worth the outlay IMO.

Hi, had a few specials from Keith. But don't fancy messing about with adapters.
Think SS sliding weights would be easy to make for the Solar Arms (can take ends off), or maybe Carper, Fox or Avid sliding weights would fit, and weight be OK.
But its all a bit of a faff & prob wait for items. I can get away with adding weights to Bobbins, if needed, so not a urgent need.
OTOH weren't Fox one of first to put M5 on things ?
All for metrification, shame all things not changed decades ago.
Mind, might be rite bummer, if 3/8 BSF went to say M10.

Loads of people seem to like them, perhaps my heavy mono was a bit much for them to sit true. Annoying nonetheless, and you're not gonna change your mainline for a bobbin! (I bet some on here would actually 😂 )

I had the same issue with the safe liners, initially wasn't impressed then saw (or more likey read the instructions) how to set them up properly and they have been great since.
The twist I found to be the chain, resolved by running it straight with you finger when you pick up the bobbin to attach the line.
I find they give really good indication and once you get the weights balanced you can get really delicate indication.

Im sure you could get a sliding weight/ grub screw modified with someone cutting a slit to the middle?
Iirc, they have a thread, grub screw and rubber grommet in the middle, the more you tighten the grub against the grommet the harder they are to slide.

Solar used to make knurled stainless sliding weights for the butt banger arms which were a retrofit product. They were in 3 pieces. You had to unscrew the two halves of the stainless weight, slide one stainless half onto the arm from the hockey stick end, fit the slotted plastic middle bit by just clipping it onto the arm through the slot and then slide the other threaded stainless half onto from the hockey stick end. The plastic slotted insert has a tapered profile to it, so when you screw the two stainless halves together it pinches it to the arm and locks it into position. If you want to slide it in either direction, just slightly unscrew the two halves, slide to new position and then screw the two halves tightly together again. I've got a set of 4 of them I've had for nearly 30 years I reckon and would never part with them.
You may be able to find a set of them on eBay at some point?
From memory, Solar also made butt banger arms with pivot points at both ends. It may be possible to fit the sliding weights from either end of those, but couldn't be certain as mine have a fixed 90 degree upward bend on them where the bobbin head screws on.

These are the sliding weights for the buttbanger arms.
I think these weights are about bit longer than the ones for the sensoriser arms, as shown in Vossys pic.
No idea if they fit the other arms.
BTW, these have the korda mag adaptors fitted, and the korda mag hockey sticks on my buzz bars.
