Yup mine have the "milky" whipping problem on cold \ damp mornings..

In general,would you say your current rings are OK...?

Reason I ask ,is my son has mk1s which are ancient,the rings are good, no damage or wear ,that we can see..

Gotta love those Armalites,..I saw a pair on Tamar ,bailiff had a pair ,very long time ago,wanted a set ,could not ever afford them til I retired ...

Hiya

Well I'm no expert in such matters but yes all things being equal prob in an ok state for their age.

Have had a couple of knocks over the years I'm sure, and i seem to remember the ceramic coming out a few times on one of the butt guides.

Yup i remember as a lad i saved and saved worked 2 jobs. No pub, No nights out with the boys, No girls, No nothing not until i had enough to get my Armalites an have them built up by VG.
I will not be letting them go in a hurry...
